Antony Bahr

Antony BahrAntony Bahr is executive vice president of CoBank’s Corporate Agribusiness Banking Group, which provides financial solutions for large corporate and upper-middle-market agribusiness and food processing customers. Mr. Bahr also leads the Customer Derivatives Group, which provides interest rate risk management hedging solutions for customers across all the lending areas of CoBank. He is a member of CoBank’s Loan Committee, the Asset/Liability Committee and the Bank-wide Operating Committee.

Previously, Mr. Bahr was executive vice president of the Banking Services Group, responsible for CoBank’s Capital Markets and Leasing divisions. In that role, he led teams that provide syndicated bank debt, private placements, asset securitization, tax-exempt bond financing, customer derivatives and equipment leasing. Prior to that, he was senior vice president for Capital Markets, where his responsibilities included structuring, pricing and marketing large corporate and middle market transactions placed with banks and other institutional investors. Mr. Bahr also founded CoBank’s Knowledge Exchange division, which is responsible for providing value-added industry and commodity research. Before joining CoBank, he worked for Manufacturers Hanover Securities Corp., structuring and distributing private placement transactions.

Mr. Bahr earned a bachelor’s degree in international affairs from the University of Colorado in Boulder and an MBA with an emphasis in finance from Indiana University in Bloomington. He serves on the advisory board of the J.P. Morgan Center for Commodities.
