About the Speaker

Matt Most HeadshotMatt is co-founder and CEO of the SHEFA Innovation Foundry, an energy tech platform connecting North American energy companies with the Israeli startup community.

Matt recently retired from Ovintiv as Vice President of Government Relations, Matt’s team was responsible for U.S. policy initiatives and governmental relationships (note Ovintiv was formerly Encana Oil and Gas, Inc.). Previously Matt led Encana Natural Gas, Inc., providing compressed and liquefied natural gas fueling solutions to a variety of industries.

Matt joined Encana in 2010 from Edison Mission Energy where he held an array of energy trading and environmental policy positions. He also served as Chairperson of the Environmental Markets Association for three years and as Director for five years. Prior to Edison Mission Energy, Matt held key roles at the AirBank (brokerage) and Waste Management, Inc. (commodity management)

Matt holds a bachelor’s degree from Clark University in Environmental Science and a Master of Business Administration from Babson College.
