The J.P. Morgan Center for Commodities and Energy Management first opened in 2012 thanks to generous corporate donors like J. P. Morgan, CoBank, and Four Point Energy.  Over a decade later, the Center is a powerhouse of industry-driven education and applied academic research. The Center boasts graduate certificates and specializations in graduate-degree programs, including MBA, MS Finance, MS Sustainability Management; an annual global research symposium; and a suite of continuing education programs, in-house training, and international educational partnerships.

Our history of partnering with industry to enhance educational opportunities is made possible through the generous support of businesses and individuals who value the vital connection between classroom learning and real-world practice.

Scholarships

The Center strives to be a key source of talent and thought leadership for the global commodity industry. By offering scholarships, the Center is able to attract a diverse pool of students to the study of commodities - building a strong talent pipeline for employers.

The Center provides real-world learning by recruiting expert faculty with both industry experience and strong academic credentials, ensuring practical, applicable education.

Donations to our general fund help sustain this mission by supporting the recruitment and retention of top industry leaders to design and teach our for-credit and non-credit programs.

Through the generosity of our inaugural donors, the Center’s endowment helps advance its goal of promoting life-long commodities education and learning for all experience levels.
