At the vast majority of business schools, commodity education is of critical importance and receives minimal attention. As such, students may lack the knowledge of the exciting and rewarding careers that can take them around the world.

The first of its kind, the J.P. Morgan Center for Commodities and Energy Management at the CU Denver Business School provides students exposure to the broad commodity sector including energy, metals & minerals, and agriculture.  We prepare students to enter into and succeed in commodity-based careers for business roles in producing companies to firms across supply chains and in financing and trading positions. Through our courses, students will gain an understanding of commodity market fundamentals as well as gain key quantitative skills to launch rewarding career paths.
