By completing this certificate, you may be able to waive the GMAT score from your application should you decide to pursue a Professional MBA at CU Denver, if you meet the below criteria.
It is designed to give you a focused business background and update your skillset quickly. You'll earn college credit for each course you successfully complete and a CU Denver certificate upon completion of three courses. Flexible schedules cater to working professionals looking for a part-time option. Courses are eight weeks long.

Additional benefits of the General Business Certificate
Requirements to waive the GMAT: after successfully completing the certificate are the following: complete three classes (9 credits), BUSN 6520, – Leading Individuals & Teams, BUSN 6550 – Analyzing and Interpreting Accounting Information, and any BUSN course numbered 6000 or higher, or any graduate-level course, numbered 6000 or higher, offered by the Business School with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better, earn a B+ or better in BUSN 6550 - Analyzing and Interpreting Accounting Information.
This certificate consists of three classes (9 credits), BUSN 6520, – Leading Individuals & Teams, BUSN 6550 – Analyzing and Interpreting Accounting Information, and a Business Free Elective, which may be applied to the Professional MBA program (if you are admitted).
