Professionals in all fields are expected to conceptualize and translate groundbreaking ideas into real impact. Our Entrepreneurship Minor is designed to give you the tools to develop and launch those new ventures, whether that be as a founder, employee or new hire. As one of the fastest-growing business segments in the country, entrepreneurship can help excel your career within any industry of choice.
With an Entrepreneurship Minor, you can expand your education through scholarships, networking events and mentoring at the Jake Jabs Center for Entrepreneurship.
To complete the minor, you need to take three required entrepreneurship courses and two elective entrepreneurship courses. Course topics include:
You must be an undergraduate CU Denver student with at least a 2.00 cumulative GPA and a 2.00 cumulative GPA within Entrepreneurship to receive the minor. You must take at least five entrepreneurship (ENTP) courses in the minor at CU Denver. If you’ve already taken the equivalent of one or more of these courses at another university, other high-level business courses may be substituted with the approval of the Business School.
To declare the Entrepreneurship Minor, you’ll need to fill out the Entrepreneurship Minor Application and get approval from your undergraduate advisor. Visit the office located on the fourth floor of the Business School, email it to firstname.lastname@example.org, or set up an appointment here.
