Our Entrepreneurship Minor is designed to give you the tools to build and be a part of a successful start-up business, whether that be as a founder, co-founder, principal employee or new hire. As one of the fastest-growing business segments in the country, you’ll find a number of opportunities including scholarships, networking, and mentoring through the Jake Jabs Center for Entrepreneurship.
To complete the minor, you will take three required entrepreneurship classes and two elective entrepreneurship classes. Course topics include:
You must be an undergraduate CU Denver student with at least a 2.00 cumulative GPA and a 2.00 cumulative GPA in the Entrepreneurship Minor to receive the minor. You must take at least five entrepreneurship (ENTP) courses in the minor at CU Denver. If you’ve already taken the equivalent of one or more of these courses at another university, other high-level business courses may be substituted with the approval of the Business School.
To declare the Entrepreneurship Minor, you’ll need to fill out the Entrepreneurship Minor Application and submit to the undergraduate advising office located on the fourth floor of the Business School or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
