Meyer is a full-time instructor at the University of Colorado Denver teaching Cultivating Emotional Intelligence (BUSN 2110), Customer Service Strategies (MKTG 4620) and Personal Selling & Sales Management (MKTG 4700). MKT3000 Principles of Marketing and BUS1950 Business Communications. She has also taught Career and Professional Development (BUSN 1200), and Advertising (MKTG 4000) at CU Denver. In addition, she has taught Business Communications, Principles of Marketing, and a non-credit Business Writing course at Metropolitan State University and Organization Behavior at the Women’s College at the University of Denver.
In addition, Meyer is a Principal of the Authentika Group where she creates leadership development programs and provides executive and career coaching. She is a life-long learner with a passion for creating healthy business environments and increasing profitability through the development of employees. She embraces accelerated learning techniques in curriculum development and workshop facilitation and uses behavioral coaching techniques in developing leaders.
Meyer has over 30 years of experience in sales, leadership, and management in the entertainment industry. She has held positions such as senior director, affiliate sales and marketing with Starz Entertainment LLC; division vice president of affiliate sales with Z Music, Inc.; director, affiliate services, southwest region with NBC TripleCast; and director, affiliate relations with Nostalgia Network, Inc.
Meyer received a Bachelor of Arts degree in professional development from Amberton University in Garland, Texas, and a master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in Leadership from the University of Denver’s Daniel’s School of Business. She is also a Certified Master Coach (CMC), Certified Motivators Practitioner (CMP), Certified Behaviors Practitioner (CBP), Temperament Certified Professional, EQi Certified, and a C-IQ for Coaches Enhanced Skill Practitioner.
She grew up on a farm in Iowa with seven sisters and four brothers. She has a grown son, two stepsons, stepdaughter. Meyer lives in Westminster, Colorado, with her husband.
