Michael has been part of CU Denver’s Business Career Center since Fall 2024, supporting students in exploring how their major may align with their industries/fields of interest through life and career exploration curriculum design scaffolding, teaching courses, and tailored advising via a design thinking lens. Before joining the BCC, Michael was an administrator and instructor at Johns Hopkins University, Bennington College, and Hampshire College, respectively, supporting students in their academic to career journey.
In his spare time, he enjoys working on his kettlebell and cross-training routines, attending Soul Cycle classes, and visiting family in Southern California. If Mike could tell his college self anything, he would say to consider reframing the process of exploring career interests as a community-centered approach, rather than an individualistic and isolating experience, one that can be meaningfully supported through the use of alumni and university resources for insight.
