The courses are structured to give students hands-on experience through classroom instruction, case studies and guest lectures featuring successful entrepreneurs and renowned business leaders.
The entrepreneurship specialization will give you access to an extensive network of leading entrepreneurs and business leaders through the Jake Jabs Center for Entrepreneurship. Networking opportunities include an annual business plan competition called The Climb, access to local entrepreneurs, connections with new ventures and competitive internships. CU Denver’s location in downtown provides a unique opportunity to network with businesses right around campus.
Entrepreneurship courses will guide you through the process of starting a business including creating business plans, navigating legal issues, working with venture capitalists, developing websites and more. Coursework and projects will help you develop and hone an entrepreneurial mindset that you can apply to starting your own business, working in start-ups or leading in established companies.
