Elizabeth Cooperman is the co-director for the managing for sustainability program. She teaches in both the finance and entrepreneurship programs and specializes in teaching online courses. At CU Denver, she previously served as the finance program director, the professional MBA program director, and the interim chair of the primary unit. Her research focuses on sustainability, financial institutions, pensions, and corporate governance, including climate change issues. Cooperman received the Business School's Laube Community Impact Award with the managing for sustainability team in 2015, Outstanding Service Award in 2004 and 2016, and an Outstanding Teacher Award in 2009.
