Dr. Qiong Hu is a clinical assistant professor of business analytics at the University of Colorado Denver. With a Ph.D. in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Auburn University, Dr. Hu’s expertise lies in operations research, data analytics, and business analytics, focusing on vehicle routing and scheduling problems, dynamic programming, and machine learning applications. Dr. Hu has a robust research portfolio that includes the application of advanced data analytics and optimization techniques to improve transportation safety and efficiency. She has published several high-impact papers in esteemed journals, such as “Transportation Research Part C” and “Accident Analysis & Prevention”, showcasing her contributions to the fields of road traffic safety, driver behavior modeling, and ergonomic risk assessment. In addition to her research, Dr. Hu is dedicated to teaching various business analytics and statistics courses. Her commitment to education is further demonstrated by completing courses on designing learner-centered and equitable courses through the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE).
