Dr. Anoud Bani-Hani is an Associate Professor at the Business School of the University of Colorado, Denver, USA. She holds a Doctor of Engineering degree in Computer Sciences and Information Technology Systems and an MSc in Multimedia and Internet Computing from Loughborough University, United Kingdom.

Before joining CU Denver, Dr. Bani-Hani served as an Assistant/Associate Professor at Zayed University, where she was also the Director of the NextGen Center and Chair of the Research Ethics Committee. During her eight years at Zayed University in Dubai, she taught various courses, including entrepreneurship and ERP, and worked as an ERP developer in the UK. She has also lectured at the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), Jordan.

In recognition of her work, Dr. Bani-Hani received the Zayed University President's Award for Employee Excellence in 2021 and was nominated for The UAE Prime Minister's Award for Future Jobs in 2022. She collaborated with industry leaders like Microsoft, IBM, NXN, and SAP.

Her research interests include emotion and fake news detection on social media in Arabic and English, ERP implementations, knowledge management in SMEs, cloud computing, blockchain, and emerging IP technologies.
