Celebration of Success

The University of Colorado Denver Business School serves a highly diverse student population. In fact, 48% of our incoming first-year undergraduate students identify as persons of color. We are the most ethnically diverse national university in the state of Colorado and also rank number one in the state by US News & World Report for Social Mobility. We are proud of the programs we have built and continue to build allowing all individuals access to higher education.

In the spring of 2025, the CU Denver Business School will host the biennial Celebration of Success gala, helping raise funding for much-needed scholarship support for students pursuing a college degree. Our past efforts have provided aid to over 3,000 students, totaling over $4.4 million. Our goal next year is to raise over $250,000 to benefit 100 students, many of whom are first-generation college students and from historically marginalized student populations.

WHY ATTEND AND SPONSOR A TABLE?

For over 25 years, Celebration of Success has been opening doors and lowering barriers to success for students with the support of our business community.

We are calling on community leaders to help make college affordability possible by sponsoring the largest and most important fundraiser of the year. Our gala also welcomes others to engage with the Business School by asking sponsors to friend-raise and invite others who are interested in supporting student success.

  1. STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
Proceeds benefit student scholarships at the Business School.  Sponsorships range from $6,000 to $50,000 for the Presenting Sponsor. A $10,000 sponsorship will provide scholarship support for 6 deserving students.
  2. GREAT NETWORKING AND CONNECTIONS
500 top community and business leaders attend this event.  The Celebration of Success fosters high-level connections and networking among business and community leaders, local business executives and faculty, alumni and students.

  3. INTRIGUING KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Previous speakers such as Morgan Stanley former CEO and Chairman John Mack; J.P. Morgan Chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon; (ret) U.S. Army General and former Secretary of State Colin Powell, and renowned U.S. Presidential historian, Doris Kearns Goodwin, have brought powerful voices to the stage as keynote speakers.
