Congratulations once again on your acceptance to the certificate program offered through the CU Denver J.P. Morgan Center for Commodities and Energy Management!

This page will provide you with important information regarding the Commodities and Energy Graduate Certificate and the next steps following your offer of admission.

The Commodities and Energy Graduate Certificate is a way to build a career that withstands any commodities trend. With over ten years of experience in education, our curriculum cuts across all commodities sectors, from agriculture, to energy and mining. Our program’s online format allows you to work anywhere in the world while completing your graduate certificate.

In order to receive the Graduate Certificate, students must complete three graduate-level energy and/or commodities courses.

Estimated Program Time Commitment: Minimum of 6 months depending on how many courses are taken per term. 

First Day of Spring A Classes: Friday, January 10 or Tuesday, January 21, 2024 (depends on which course(s) you are taking) 

The Commodities and Energy Graduate Certificate courses are delivered in a technology-enriched online instructional format. All courses are 100% online, with live virtual sessions during the quarter.

Spring 2025 Course Schedule

Tuition is $4,500 USD/per course regardless of state or country of residence, plus an additional ~$185 in university fees. The cost of textbooks is not included in the tuition amount.

Financial aid is not currently available for Non-degree certificate students. Scholarships are offered through the J.P. Morgan Center: https://business.ucdenver.edu/jpmorgancenter/scholarships
