Information Systems Research
The CU Denver Information Systems (IS) faculty are internationally recognized researchers that help shape understanding of the organizational change associated with technology. Our faculty consistently publish in top journals, including Information Systems Research, Management Information Systems Quarterly, and the Journal of Management Information Systems. They have served on editorial boards for journals and academic conferences and have won best paper and other research awards. The IS faculty are active in grant-based research, receiving funding from internal and external university-level sources as well as esteemed National Science Foundation grants. Leading-edge research on topics such as wearables, cybersecurity, and business intelligence, combined with our IS business community partnerships, ensures our IS programs and courses are state of the art and relevant. The dedication of the IS faculty to the success of the Business School and its students has resulted in numerous teaching and service awards at the University of Colorado Denver. Our active IS student club has received national recognition.
